What are the effects of overcharging on phone?

Effects Of Overcharging On Phone :-

1-Firstly, Charging Battery more than its capacity affects the phone      negatively.Overcharging leads to Overheat and you might be familiar that our  phone should be kept safe from overheating. This is because it reduces the life  span of a Battery.
2-So it is better to safeguard your mobile phone from overcharging. If you cannot be around your phone every minute while it is charging, try your hands
on some charging alert apps to auto protect your phone from overcharging.
3-Overcharging! I have heard a lot of voices saying there won’t be a side effect
on overcharge. But believe me, if you overcharge your battery for a couple of times you will start noticing degrade in its performance.

4-You know what happens when you over-eat; you get fat and ultimately become slow and your body becomes leggy. Same goes with the batteries, keep feeding them the current and they will become slow (fast to discharge).
5-So the best practice is to start charging when battery %age is around 25% and keep on charging to 85%. Charge it full (‘100%’) once in a while (month may be) this way your battery will last longer.
6-I personally have been following this practice with the batteries of my Cameras, Laptops and mobile phones and they have performed well so far.
7-Once it's fully charged, it knows when to stop the current from coming in to protect your phone from overcharging.” Eventually the battery is going to noticeably degrade. So far so good, but there are situations when leaving that smartphone plugged in overnight can slowly reduce the lifespan of your battery.
8-With the more recent Lithium Ion batteries, you do not have to fear about memory build-up, the place it “remembers” its charge level when unplugged. At the moment, it's not possible to overcharge a phone mobile phone battery. However, leaving your phone plugged in for greater than 24 hours can intent it to overheat.
9-If a device is frequently over charged it loses it’s ability to hold the power for a long time! The battery drains very quickly even when it is on standby. It’s always better to charge ur phone to 100% and let the charge continue for 10 extra minutes. This method is known to improve battery life!
