Registration for Aadhar for Children above 1 year

Recently when I wanted to enroll for Aadhar for my one year old daughter, I browsed in the Internet to know the details of "how to register for Aadhar?"
According to the recent news The UIDAI website itself they have mentioned that for children below 5 years old they can register for aadhar without the need for finger prints as there finger prints keep changing very often. In order to over come this UIDAI has advised  in its website that baby below 5 years can register for aadhar by linking the aadhar of both the parents using which a new aadhar card will be issued for that child with 5 year validity after which that child has to re-enrol for aadhar using the finger print and it has to be re -enrolled every 5 years until the child's age of 16, after which a final finger print will be taken as after 16 years the changes in finger prints will be bare minimum.
anybody above one year age can apply for aadhar In fact in the aadhar website itself they have mentioned that anybody irrespective of age can enroll for aadhar and In fact when dialing the help LINE they are running an advertisement that anybody irrespective of age can register for aadhar and in uidai website home page there are illustrations as a child holding an aadhar card saying that even small Baby above 1 year can apply for aadhar.
